Bot Nostalgia
 

Hi, when did you start to like bots? I have Telejano-Quake installed and got the good old Reaper (96-97). The programmer was the guy who made the Unreal-Tournament bots later. The bots need no waypoints (like Parabot) and play like gods in every map, they have a real good AI. In the readme the guy said it took him 120 hours to make the bot. Not very much I think. Enjoy if you like Quake :euro:

Reaper was the first bot I played - inspired me to write my own bot, that played crt's Rocket Arena.

Also a nice review-page and lots of historic bot-infos there. Another nice Quake1-mod was DMSP that lets quake-monsters spawn in any deathmatch-map for a single-player-experience (like "Invasion" in UT2k3). You know it was all there before... ;-)
