CS crashing when trying to start "new game"
 

Alright i recently upgraded my pc and had the latest all in one pod-bot mm version installed and it worked perfectly, now i installed it just like it's supposed to and how i did before and every time i go to start a new game it hangs for a second then just closes CS. my 1.6 has been acting kind of wierd too because i tested to see if i could join a pub and i could but i got really choppy gameplay and the textures looked a little off. It's all brand new parts and i net_graph 1'd to see if i was getting fps loss to see if that's why it was playing so choppily but it was 100fps constant so if anyone know the solution to either problem please feel free to give some input.

CS only crashes when I try and use cs1.6 with podbot 2.5.
Plus I can't join any teams ;)

Try reinstalling cs 1.6, some things like classmenu doesn't always come up with the Counter-strike.gcf file.
Delete the local files, then got to steamApps/username/counter-strike delete the whole directory then reinstall it again, and reinstall podbot and enjoy playing.

Start playing with metamod only (without podbot) and see if it crashes for You, too.
Go to Your cstrike\addons\metamod folder and find the file called plugins.ini
Then disable all plugins there by adding the semicolon at the beginning of each line wihch conntains something. For example:
;win32 addons/podbot/podbot_mm.dll
if Your CS still have problem with starting - You may have the problem with mm version (use the latest one - currently 1.18 ) or with Your Steam installation.

for the 2.5 allinone installer had the ;win32 addons/statsme stuff that could be causeing a problem, but it worked for me with that there, I just couldn't use statsme to is full potental.

Also try and not install other mods while using Podbot, clanmod does work but try and do everything else first, yea try and create a new game in Cstrike then try podbot, XP user's normally have to have an unlock thing come up and push unlock or keep blocking so you can actually add the bot the folders and play it without lag etc...
