Cvs???
Hi everyone,
after server troubles the latest days, the cvs has been changed. The cvs server can be reached now with CVS ROOT :pserver:username@bots-united.com:/home/bots-united.com/cvsroot instead of the prior CVS ROOT :sserver:username@bots-united.com:/home/cvsroot :cvsnt-sserver:username@bots-united.com:/home/cvsroot (for eclipse) Maybe an admin should change that soon, because there is no secure connection anymore (username / password will be sent as plaintext...). Re: Cvs???
From what I know Nova's trying to install Subversion, but he's having a bit of a trouble so far. Let's wait and see if this can be fixed.
(btw nova, I've seen your post @ the gentoo forums, I don't know the problem) |
Re: Cvs???
Don't You think guys every server's update means some more troubles after? How many times do I need to reapeat it?

However the SVN is up so the CVS is not needed anymore. ;)

Re: Cvs???
Hi,
first of all I should better have read the previous thread, shame on me :-) I think in general it's a good idea to migrate to svn, but it's a bit annoying that there is no cvs nor svn for several days. This could be better planned :-) But thanks to Nova for the work he does! It's always good to have an admin who cares about things. Don't forget about that! BTW: The Storm says that the cvs is already ported to svn, so please don't use the cvs roots I mentioned above to checkin anything, because it may get lost after the shutdown of the cvs. Markus |
