Waypoints I'm Working On Next 11-15-05

Well, the next Fritzbot release is right around the corner and pretty much all of my to-do list is complete so it's time again to announce the maps i will be working on next. Along with these i will make updates to older releases as well (especially Market Garden) and Callfire is almost done as well.

So here are the maps i will be working on next, the wiki has been updated to reflect these in the in progress list. As always if anyone is currently waypointing any of these maps, please let me know and i'll take them off my to do list and you can path them.

Without futher or do, here they are...

mp_omaha_2
mp_dark (Checkpoint)
mp_wizernes
mp_enigma
mp_korfe
mk_airport
stalag13
montezuma
fuel_depot

Feel free to comment. :)

Hiya.

Have finished Brescia (which I've uploaded), and should finish theguns next wk.

There is a small-ish map mp_zion that I will have a go at too - nothing too hard on that one.

Enjoy Brescia.!

Damn There are alot of ugly maps currently being waypointed.
Are you guys choosing these maps specifically for the gameplay aspect? or just a random sort of thing.

Gameplay aspect for me, I have a set list of maps i would like to see waypointed and i just select one's that interest me (some are chosen to balance selection and provide variety) at that time and just do them, i don't really care how they looks (well in some cases anyway). There not that bad are they?

Brescia is very ugly in my opinion, so is carentan, x-lab, x-dam, pacific...so on.

I wish I knew how to waypoint, (refrase) I wish i could be bothered learning to waypoint.

Anyway maps that are pleasing to the eye in my opinion are axis complex, marketgarden, steinburg, frostbite...so on

dunno, I personnaly prefer a map to have a good look and feel aswell as being historically acurate, like a real historical battleground and it has to portrayed correctly.

Take marketgarden for instance. . The bridge the axis defends is very similarly portrayed as one of the bridges along the Rhine river during www2. I love this sort of call of duty gaming history lesson in rtcw maps because nerve didn't have this in mind when they designed rtcw multiplayer.

anywayz, keep up the good work.

I always try to encourage people to learn how to do it, it's not as difficult as you think and it's almost as fun as playing the map itself (well for me anyway)

In any case, could you possibly list some other non-waypointed maps that would fall into you're category? I'm not saying you're wrong for thinking the way you do, i mean i agree. But to waypoint those maps, i need to know which one's fall into that category.

I'd consider this sort of a request, that way i can compare you're list of wanted waypoints to mine and move maps up in priority and/or it will give other waypointers ideas for which maps they could do next, etc. Keep in mind though not all maps can be waypointed atm due to some missing bot abilities for the time being but they can be done at a later time.
