Bots looking up too much.
 

Didn't find this topic anywhere...

I am running AmxModX, StatsMe, and mEAnmod all together and the bots are working fine. They shoot well and whatnot. But, what I really started seeing more often was that they look up a lot and when I get close to the bots, they're still looking up until I shoot them, then they turn around and fire back. They just look really silly looking up all the time. Not so realistic.

My guess on this is mEAn mod and podbot together. I read somewhere that mEAn mod uses the botaim2 plugin by PMB, but that it's already implemented in podbot_mm. So, is that the problem? Should I turn it off?

Everything is up to date, I have the R2B46D build. And metamod is updated to 1.18.00 build. AmxModX of course is updated to its latest.

podbot mm R2B46d has included "old" PMB's botaim (not botaim2), but it can't work together with any external aim plugin/program. Yes - You should swutch it of. It's not podbot mm bug. It's how botaim code works. It has to work separately (can be doubled by another aim plugin).

Alright, would it affect the bots in any way if it were turned off? Like easy to kill? I hope not. I'll check it out.

Yeah - if their aim system is screwed up by external aim program, they may be more easy to hit by You.

Well, I just realised that m_botaimfix isn't even a command. But, it says so in the command list for mEAn but it's not being recognized. =/ So, I guess, mEAn has nothing to do with the problem..

To make sure You are right, just start podbot with metamod only (to be sure mEAn and other mm plugins don't have nothing with this) and check if still You can see this problem.
