"New Game" crashes when i create it

i dl'ed the following:
PODbot v2.6
metamod v1.18-win32

and i've followed all the installing instructions on the readme and on POD's website.
but when i run CS v1.6, and create a "new game" (the button says new game..), my CS crashes... o.O can anyone help?

ok, i dl'ed and replaced old PODbot 2.6 with podbot mm R2B46d, but the problem still occurs. when i click "new game" for the first time, it wont create the game. when i create another game, it'll show the "starting local game server" msg but wont load (b/c it crashes CS).

im in my /cstrike folder, and i opened the "readme".. and it says:

the readme.txt is normal. Valve just didn't update it for CS 1.6.
