Porting CS 1.5 to Steam
 

Hi all,
Is there a way to port the old WON CS 1.5 to Steam? I just want to play it online in Steam servers.

just install cs 1.5 to your c:\progra~1\steam\your@email.com\half-life and you will get it in "other games" section.

Do you need any old Cs 1.5 CD Key or has to be sacred like 1.6?

because I to love cs 1.5 :D

Heyyo,

Yeah, for a lot of CS1.5 servers on steam, rename your "cstrike" folder to "csv15" and you should get a couple. ;)

Btw, since it's on steam and acts like a hl1 mod, you need a valid HL1 cd key to play it, cause it goes by steam_id and all that for banning/kicking.

Thanks man works great except for the Half-life pictures and I can't see the counter-strike logo on csv15 Ty works good now, isn't amxmodx and admin mod the same? Because I tried to use podbot 2.5 with admin mod and AMXmod and I got some screwed up stuff, but ofcourse I was trying to use won lan stuff.... Works great now, gotta fix it up like 1.6 I like the ak47 stuff and addable skins etc... its making my day man, thank you.
