Podbot_mm makes unamed bots

First my environment:

SuSE Linux 8.0
Mean Admin Mod 6.0
Podbot_mm 2.6
metamod 1.17.4
AMX Mod 0.9.9 - LINUX - STEAM

I have installed my podbots correctly as a metamod plugin. The plugin was installed in /usr2/local/steam/cstrike/addons where /usr2/local/steam is my $HLDS_1 home directory. Therefore all the files should be residing in the correct directory under the heirarchy. But just for grins the botnames.txt is in /usr2/local/steam/cstrike/addons/podbot.

I have also made shure that the botnames.txt has read access granted for root/group/others. Nevertheless, the server continues to create unamed bots.

Any help will be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Osensei

Update Your podbot version to the latest one. Take it here. Next time try to use search function in "Common questions" and "Bug reports" forums before you write any post. ;)
To prevent any problems between AMX and podbot update Your AMX to 0.9.9b, too. Take it from the first KRoT@L's post of this topic.

I really don't won't to break the forum rules here. Buy, maybe you guys should complain more about the PODBOT guys not taking into consideration that Linux is case sensitive where the names of directories/files are concerned than you do about people posting to your forum asking for help.

Sincerely,

Osensei

Re: Podbot_mm makes unamed bots

We have taken the case-sensitive file names that linux uses by changing all directories and file names in the official distribution of podbot to lower-case.
