Ya, I am anxiously awaiting this as well. I can give you development space and an account if that will speed up the process. :) I will put whatever version of GCC you feel you need.

i already have the tools, i just have to make sure it works. THe problem is not compiling, but running/executing the compiled dll. I don't know if our new gcc set is installed.. (pmb?)

it seems our server is 'messed up' so we cannot compile rb for linux. :(

afaik:
- a gcc 2.95.3 compiler set
- the correct makefile to compile the entire code of metamod and other codes (rb, etc)

also , we have installer packages for them, but somehow our existing installation is removed. We dediced not to worry to much about the linux distribution just yet.
