Realbot loaded, but only spectating when joined.

Hi all, first post here.

Problem:
I'm able to get realbot to load and I can add bots to the server with the "realbot add" command, but whatever I do they always end up spectating. They do not join a team after having finished a round as spectators.

Version:
I'm running the latest Steam and HL/CS version as of today on a clean install. I'm using realbot version 3062.

Installation procedure:
I installed a fresh install of steam/HL/CS to the default directory. I then used Whistlers zip-package to install the realbot and metamod files to the counter-strike directory (the version found here: "http://www.geocities.com/yapb_cs/rb.zip")
I then modified my liblist.gam file to read as follows:
-----------------------
game "Counter-Strike"
url_info "www.counter-strike.net"
url_dl ""
version "1.6"
size "184000000"
svonly "0"
secure "1"
type "multiplayer_only"
cldll "1"
hlversion "1111"
nomodels "1"
nohimodel "1"
mpentity "info_player_start"
gamedll "addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll"
gamedll "dlls\mp.dll"
gamedll_linux "dlls/cs_i386.so"
trainmap "tr_1"
------------------------
I added the "-console 1" to my starting options for the Steam launcher for CS.
liblist.gam was made readonly (this seems to have no effect on my problem though)

Method of starting CS/Realbot:
I start the game through the Steam launcher and choose "new game" to make a listen-server. I choose either de_Italy or de_Dust for testing.
When checking with "meta list" in the console I can see that the realbot plugin is started.
I then use "realbot add 2", or the H-menu system to add a few randowm bots or specific bots, and they show up as spectators.
The problem is that the bots stay as spectators even after a new round starts. I have tried sv_restartround 1 and mp_limitteams 0 without any effect on the problem.

So, does anybody have an idea as to what I'm doing wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is for a university project.

Hi all, I found the error myself after reading the Wiki a bit.
Stupid error, I had gamedll listed twice in the liblist.gam file.

Works fine now.

I didn't have any problems with this earlier, but when using the latest HL1E+CS update the bots just won't join a team anymore. I don't use the gamedll to load the bots, I use the metamod version.

@Stefan - look at it:

You will need probably the same fix for Realbot which splorygon used for podbot mm. It's due to the latest Steam update...

I dont know since I am not Stefan, but he did say he was no longer gonna support realbot, as he made its source available so other coders could contribute.... (correct if wrong)
Damn those steam updates, they cause more havok than they fix lol

true. I don't have the code even on my machine. So in that case i should be downloading it, try to fix that and upload it. Support it again.

But if its easy to fix, i bet someone will fix it asap. (Although i am aware the POD community is way more alive...)

Unless u code or someone else fixes the code and uploads the new dll, you wont be able to.
