SEVS MOD - Best Bot for Ded Server HLDM?
 

Hi all, I have used HPB Bot and Grave Bot in the past, with crashing issues when loading only certain maps. I use Admin mod and metamod, no other plugins.

Questions: Which is the "best" bot for sevs mod? (Most bots say they are for cs, which I dont play).
And is there a bot that tau jumps? Now, that would be cool. :D

Gravebot was my favorite, because it at least it did like a circle strafe type of manuever, but Im looking for something alittle bit more advanced if there is anything. Plus, like I said with hpb and gravebot, i would crash alot (chainammo.dll errors and others), but without bots I ran fine.

Ok. Thanks. I didnt realize that those you mentioned ALL worked with the mod config I have (MM, AM, SEVS).

Do any of them tau jump? :D

The Jumbot claims to be able to tau jump. But the docs say only when he reaches a wall or something and wants to take a shorcut. I assume it's very basic tau jumping and nothing like the real players who tau across maps. I've downloaded this bot but I can't seem to get it working.

intelliq, the gravebot is also pretty nice. I've had 1 issue where my server crashed, but that was only once and it hasn't happened since. As far as I can tell, the gravebot can't tau jump. But it has the next best thing, the long jump :). I love it...I've been getting it to lj like real players. Also, it seems to follow the waypoints much better than the previous bot I used(HBP). Can anyone add a tau/gauss jump ability to this bot?

lol sorry, i should have read your first post more carefully, you have used the Gravebot duh.
