JoeBot 1.6.5.3 Waypoint Help
 

I am brand new to botting, waypointing and everything that goes with it.
This is a request for help for waypointing JoeBot 1.6.5.3 I have figured out how to get the waypoints, paths, etc...set, but it won't save. I am trying to waypoint de_cpl_fire and when i go to save it does this....
Failed saving cstr
GGJrGJ8/de_cpl_fire.wpj
waypoints saved.....
I am waypointing with no bots in the server....is that my problem or is it soemthing else? I would really like to know because I am very interested in making waypoints for a lot of the maps i have.....if someone could plz help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, if I post some maps I need waypointed can some1 help me by waypointing them for me?

Heyyo,

Hmm, I'm not familiar with the Joebot waypoint system.. I'll read up on the manual right now...

Now, many bots don't support waypointing with bots on the map already, PODbot and PODbot based bots are a prime example.

Hmm, JoeBot seems to be pretty straight forward man.

Sry I havn't responded sooner man, I don't visit these forums as much as I used to, I'm trying to make up for that now.

If you are still interested in waypointing I could try helping you with specifics. Read the waypoint manual that comes with joebot, it's pretty good, it's located in the "joebot\docs" folder.

that weird string there looks as if there is something messed up internally. can you load and save again already existing waypoint files ?

It's all good we all busy....well now since the update my server wont work at all but yeah im still interested in learning waypointing....it wouldnt let me save or load already existing waypoints either.....

Heyyo,

Yes, new steam update is lame, there's workarounds created by whistler and PODbot mm. I'm sure the fix can be implemented into Joebot as it also uses the HPBbot source code. Check the Joebot section of the forums, I'm sure aspirin's already fixed it. ;)

But not saving or loading waypoints? something's definately messed up with your installation. Make sure the folder's aren't read only, if that doesn't work, try reinstalling Joebot, first uninstall, delete the joebot folder, and try installing again.

been down for a while my old comp died so i finally finished the new one......ill try that. Thnx for all the help guys.

im having that problem.....

Failed saving cstr/1337_awp.wpj

Edit: i searched my cstrike directory and didnt find a cstr directory or a 1337_awp.wpj, should i create the cstr folder/ where should it be
