I just had a look at the map and ran around in it a bit. Looks like a fine map to me; both optically and layout-wise. There's nothing in it that might cause complications with bots, either, so consider it waypointed. :)

All I need now is a day or two, and then you'll be able to play the map with bots.

Btw, I read in the readme that this map was an entry for a map contest. I'd like to know if there are more maps of similar quality that were submitted for the contest. If you know some equally good ones that did well in the contest, feel free to post a d/l link.

Guess what - I felt like waypointing, so I'm already done. The WPs can be found on the filebase, I'm too friggin' lazy to post the direct link here right now. 9_9

Of course, these WPs have been tested, and I'm pretty pleased with the outcome.

haha thanks man, yea there are a lot of Cevo maps which are really good but im not in cevo anymore :( and no one pubs on them, so i was like "Eh maybe they will help me out" and i guess it worked out, you should just do like a big waypoint pack with some really good quallity maps, i cant stand cs maps tho lol, i only like the de_ ones usualy, dont know why. :P

cs_ is dying out anyway... I can't really understand why, though. I like both map types, but nowadays cs_ maps are hard to find. :( Seems like people who think like you are the majority. ;)

Concerning that WP pack, I don't know if there are so many good maps left... if you don't mind, why don't you just post a list of good quality maps here? I know quite a lot of custom maps, but there are hardly any new ones coming out any more, and I don't wanna dig through gigabytes of map archives to find some good older maps I don't know yet. Moreover, many maps which I had on my mental "tracking list" never made it to a final version, they just died as promising betas. :-/

cs_ maps are dying because everyone wants clan play now adays. No one really plays the game to have fun everyone just wants to win which is kinda of fun but not really. I mean the point of a game is to play with your friends and pwn or just play around not to play to game like it is the only thing left on earth to do

well spoken sir. couldnt agree more. people who take this game too seriously should probably join the army instead.
hmm. that might not be such a good idea after all. maybe they should just stay home and read a book or something. yeah.
