Is Realbot AI a trojan horse?

I scanned the file download from this

however, Kaspersky AntiVirus identifies the file as a backdoor trojan.

What is going on?

lol I got Kaspersky too and it does detect it as a virus :D
realbot is open source.. why don't they just check the source to see if it's a backdoor.. which it probably isn't.

well only Realbot WIP 10 version is "open source", but the Realbot AI 1.0 and WIP-9 are still proprietary program whose source code is a secret and you can't do that check :) but I'm still sure it is not backdoor or something, it just happened to have the same as a trojan (btw MANY virus has the name "***bot" :D)

lol, ok, it's not open source, but you can mail stefan and I guess the code won't then be a secret to you anymore :) ... at least if he trusts you

erm, darn don't do that. i have to dig up my code from another computer if its even there... :P Or on eofthe few cd's with the name "backup".. :S
