Crashing
 

When were I use the bot with day of defeat it will automatically muck my game up and make it so it cant start and the only way i know of uninstalling it is deleting the game does anybody know how to fix this?

Open steam,
Click Play Games.
Select Half Life and right-click it, and choose properties.
Click Launch Options.
Delete eveything in the launch options box, then click Ok.

Or you can try the following:

Run regedit and remove the launch properties from there.

In run dialog type: regedit
Browse to the next location.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam\Apps\

From there browse to folder Regkey 20
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam\Apps\20
Then remove the following registry key:
LaunchOptions

Now goto regkey 70
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam\Apps\70
Then remove the following registry key:
LaunchOptions

Delete registry keys by right mouse and click delete.
Then press yes to acknowledge.

Close regedit.
Done.


You also might wanne check you liblist.gam files for any shrikebot.dll instance.

Thanks it works now but I want to play with bots any idea how I can have it installed and still play with out it crashing?

Ok,

Download the installer from here: http://shrikebot.bots-united.com/shrikebot_231.exe

Click dod and steam check boxes.
Verify if the path is correct if not use the browse button to select the wanted location.
(The installer should find your dod installation folder).
Then click install.

That's all.
(assuming you use Steam dod).
