Metamod 1.17

Download this file:
- home.tiscalinet.ch/tbannwart/files/QuickServer.zip


Install Instructions:

- Extract QuickServer.zip in your "counter-strike" directory (for listen server),
in "dedicated server" (or similar) for dedicated version.

- Go to the new created folder RealBot and activate your mod,
either activatecs15.bat or activatecs16.bat (double click on the file),
depending on your mod version.

- Add to your config.cfg:
bind "h" "+commandmenu"
bind "p" "amxmodmenu"
change as you wish

- Read this guide for setting up AMX http://amxmod.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=24281
- Read http://realbot.bots-united.com/readme/usage.html for usage of RealBot

Hi,first post so be gentle please.:|

I run (trying to run) a lan server with HLDS.But I cant find the file:dedicated server you mention to put quicksetup in.Its all new to me so confused.???:(

you should have this view:
- for standalone version http://home.comcast.net/~n.siakotos/hlserverfolder.jpg
- for steam http://home.comcast.net/~n.siakotos/ded1.jpg

extract the file there ;)

All you have to do is run a server first steam won't create the file untill you run the server just double click on dedicated server under your my games list wile running steam, let the server start up and run then exit out go back in to the folder and it should be there if you want you can use my full pack located at my site for easy install process

what about doing a thread for serversettups together?? :P
would be easier to manage and better for the forum,...

maybe we could even to it on one page,...

thats a good idea :) that would be alot better than looking through tons of threads when it seems that server setup problems are scattered accross the forum not just for realbot it would be nice to see everything in one place instead of repeating the same thing over and over why don't you start the thread
and for future refrence when you put a link to something on my page use my homepage because the screenshots are .jpg they get distorted when you just view the jpeg in IE and not use the photogallery viewer "because i used frontpage to create it"

Thanks guys,bots are working great,but amx isnt.should I re-install quickserver????:(

Sorted now,shortcut starts server with bots but doesnt let amx work.starting server from directory allows amx and bots to work.=)



Now amx has stopped working.:'(
