V7 external dependencies
I got me a copy of M$ VC++ 7 .NET
Joy. :D Just got it yesterday. It looks quite nice with all the funtion colapsing and expanding. =) But i could not figure out how to display the external dependencies. I set the project(solution) to build browse info at debug build but i don't get to see the exteranl dependencies folder in the file browse pannel. Like in VC++ 6 See image: See the red box, that's what i mean. Does anybody know how to make it visible or if it's an VC++7 option at all ?? http://www.xs4all.nl/%7Ejasp/shrikebot/exdep.jpg |
Re: V7 external dependencies
That feature was removed because it apparently was "fatally flawed" or something like that.
You could write an application to add a folder like that and add the dependencies to it automatically. Another thing you can do is right-click on the include line and there should be a selection in the menu which opens the file up for you as long as its in your project or project include paths. |
