Yeah I heard about this already. What exatly does it do anyway? All I heard is that it uses forums to spread or something like that.

Edit: Errkay I see what it does now. The first link that I clicked on the google link had already fixed the site, but then I tried a few more till I found one that was still wratched.

it enters thru phpbb and then deletes or fucks up any PHP/HTML/ASP files on your server

http://learningmaya.com was screwed yesterday, but they are working on it.. the most pages is back again.. the community however is not..

it wasn't me who was attacked... someone else being hosted there got it... and somehow it got thru the security

yes, once one server is down, the virus defaces all the HTML files that can be found on the same machine. If you're hosted on a shared server with other people on it, you might want to make a backup. Although Google said they stopped the proliferation by refusing the worm's requests :)

TRS forums were hit by this a couple days ago but everything's back in action now!
