Tribes 2 bots?
 

I can't wait any longer for a tribes vengeance bot, so was there ever anything released that makes the tribes 2 bots smarter or do new things like say, drive vehicles or capture a flag?

I don't believe so. A few months ago I searched everywhere for 3rd party bots for Tribes 2, but found none.


I did however find one for Tribes 1 called "Spoonbot", it drives vehicles and does other advanced things, but that didn't really help me and doesn't help you either.

Eh what the hell, i got tribes 1 for free on the Tribes:V bonus disc, so i'll load it up and try it. Should bring back some good memories.

Those bots for tribes 1 are almost as dumb as the tribes 2 bots, though they do drive vehicles as well as go for the flag much more often. I did end up finding a patch that makes the tribes 2 bots drive vehicles. It's made by the same people who made the bots for tribes 1. But anyway, i couldn't get it to work so no idea if its any good or not. Its such a shame they didn't work on the tribes 2 bots a little more before they released the game. They are so good if you get into a fight with one, but they almost never try for the flag, or even try to stop you when you take theirs. The T2 bots are also pretty good at fixing the base after you smash it up.
