Cube bots

Howdy,

Since cjb moved their servers and just throwed my account for my site away I thought why not ask the nice people at BU for some hosting :)

My bots
For now I only released one version(0.1) for cube. The bots are not external like most half-life bots are, but are just build in the source. At this state the bots are "very alpha" but
luckely I can just copy much code from my previous bot(esf bot) so I'm allready working on A* and auto waypointing. The bots are (just like cube) 'open source' and released under the ZLib license(simulair to the BSD license I believe).

So I wanted to ask if its allright if I get a bit host space :) I think I don't want a forum since the cube community isn't very big.

Re: Cube bots

yay! of course. :)
But I think you should still have a forum, because else people playing Cube would be confused where to post questions about it.

Re: Cube bots

aspirin ? botmeister ? Nova ? your vote is required...

the problem with that new layout is that people see polls less easily :|

the problem may be also that some ppl almost work 70 hours per week at the moment :)

although dunno cube, but sounds fine to me.

Majority reached = vote validated.

Welcome CubeBot! :D

Rick, get in touch with me by PM and give me a subdomain name (http://cubebot.bots-united.com?), a 2nd email alias (rick@bots-united.com?), and the password you want for accessing your files. And I'll set that up. I would insist that you have a forum too, just for the heck of it...

PM Sended :)

For the forum; we can always have one and remove it if its too quiet.
Oh and I've read somewhere about site templates....could be usefull since my current site is erm...simple :)

Re: Cube bots

yeah, you can just use the RB one, or the JOEbot one, no problem. Just rip it and make your own contents ;)

How do you plan to deal with dynamic level altering?
