The wiki!

Well, i've just made my first contribution to the wiki, i've re-written a lot of 'BotFAQ - uninstall non-metamod bot' and i'd like some feedback on my work..

Feel free to bash me, cause thats how we learn, so all feedback is appreciated :)

As a side note, the wiki recommends using a single descriptive word for page titles, yet it seems that a lot of people are using multiwords (making weird URLs lol), i'm not sure if thats a good thing, just wondering if its wise to continue like that, or stick with the 'standard' :)

Nice work! you could add that for Steam all that is needed is to delete the liblist.gam file instead of bothering editing it. And also that if the guy had metamod or AMX enabled before, he needs to put the path to the metamod DLL back in place.

*edit* or wait, I'll do it myself heh :P

Re: The wiki!

Stefan, it's a login you created yourself... it's not the same as the login on the BU machine, the Wiki has its own user base, just like the forums. But if you can't login you can just create a new account...

Re: The wiki!

I'd found it more logical if it was combined to the BU login system. Argh. I had an account with "Stefan" but now its just gone. Argh. Well, i;ll see if i can get it to work.

Re: The wiki!

Well, i can login as StefanHendriks , but that still does not make it security free. Anyone can login with that username! :S

Re: The wiki!

well that's the principle of the wiki... ANYONE can edit it. So what would be the point of being "secure" ?
