I Need Desperate Help
 

Okay, Im a newb... ive been playing since June - ish

Well, I tried to install that stuff... but whenever i start me "new game" it just automatically shuts off CS and I have to restart cs. I tried it again... same thing... Its a bad cycle of doom.

Can You HELP ME!!!! Can you give me like a STEP by Step instruction... maybe,
Starting with WHAT FILES I NEED TO DL. I was confused... which files do i need on the dl page?

Please give a helping hand.... I really need these bots

what have you installed so far?

have you installed RealBot AI 1.0?
you need to install that first to get all the right folders.
then if you want to use the WIP you will have to download metamod, and then the realbot WIP.

Hi,
Before we try something big, let's try this.

In your "counter-strike\cstrike" folder there should be a file "liblist.gam"?
Remove the write protection from that file.
Open that file with notepad (or something like that) and look for the line:
gamedll "dlls/mp.dll"
If your gamedll-line doesn't look like that change it to exaktly that (above). Write down exaktly the line you have today, you will have to change it back later.
Then save the "liblist.gam" file.
Now try to start a "New game", if it works and you are able to run around then close the game and change the "liblist.gam" file again.
Now change the line back to what you had from the begining.
If you have the WIP version it should look something like this:
gamedll "addons/metamod/dlls/metamod.dll"

If this doesn't help, please let us know and we'll help you out.

Okay, I uninstalled all of the realbot stuff so i could do it right from scratch. I dl the exe file..... Where do i unpack this thing? In the "readme" it said that if i unpack it to the counterstrike folder, there will be on in the half life folder too.... I dont get that... Do i have to put that there?

that a look at my screen shot mate, shows you when the realbot folder goes.

I have the same problem. My screenshot looks the same as rex's, yet CS will quit out whenever I try to start a new game.

have you done what [BBB]sluggo said to do mate?
if not do that first and let us know how you go.

pfffff stressed out...

i'm using steam cs 1.6

first installd realbot at the correct place.

first I played it i saw everybody got slayed,
so I downloaded realfix.dll
in gablist.gam i changed it to realfix.dll...
exactly like what the readme said..

and then ive got the same problem as well...

IT SHUTS DOWN
