CS DeathMatch with podbot-mm??
 

i am thinking of making a CSDM server for cs 1.3 for steam, or even 1.5.

is it possible to play CSDM with podbot??

where can i get that mod and how do i install it??

You have to install AMX MOD X 0.20 RC7 first, then take CSDM from amxmodx plugins subforum, and then ask me again - I'll send You the plugin fixed by me to work with this AMX MOD X version and with support for bot. You need go this way, because You need all configs. I didn't change any cfg file, but I rewrote a bit csdm.sma file. :)

ok i have dwnl the amxmodx-0.20-RC7.zip

ok plz tell me if i am doing this right

1. To install the amx mod x i need to unzip the "amxmodx-0.20-RC7.zip" and copy the whole "addons" folder to my cstrike folder and overite and let it install it by itself.
--- is this correct?

2. Then i copy the "csdm_mod.amxx" file that u sent me KWo and paste it in the "plugins" folder.

3. Then i copy the "csdm_mod.sma" file that u sent me KWo and paste it in the "scripting" folder.

now plz let me know if i did anthing wrong..i havent installed anything yet, i just want to know if i do it this way, thats its the right way or not.

also i am running it in cs 1.3 for steam, so in which file do i chnage it to "csdm_steam 1"??

First point is correct, but not-sufficient. You also need a file named amxmodx-cstrike-0.20-RC7.zip :

The same - unzip all to addons in cstrike folder.

Then You need download all CSDM package:
http://www.tcwonline.org/~lambda/csdm/csdm_mod.zip
For CS1.3 there is a separate package:
http://www.lambdacore.net/csdm/csdm_mod13.zip

Unzip this second to addons/amxmodx

But I'm not sure if my files will work for You with CS1.3 - try to use first this original package for CS1.3 (but bots will not choose any weapon). Then try to use my files (Your point 2 and 3). Let me know if this will work for You.

About this setting - for non-steam (but You have Steam) need write the line in amxx.cfg:
csdm_steam 0
But You - if You use Steam - You have to keep the default (csdm_steam 1) - don't need write in anywhere.
If I'll find time I'll try to compare what Bailopan wrote different in both version (for CS1.6 and for CS1.3). Then probably I'll re-write this version for CS1.3 to make support for bots (I suppose my version will not work for You). Can't You use CS1.6? It would be much easier for me to help You. :)

I've just downloaded this CS1.3 version of CSDM , but there is no sources (sma file) - so I can't compare it with the source of CSDM for CS1.6. It means I can't help You. :(
Try to search at amxmodx forum - maybe there are some sources of CSDM for CS1.3. Currently I don't have any idea what the differences can be there between these vesrions (probably some weapons).
Another thing - I suppose in CS1.3 You don't have famas and galil weapons so however You will need to use
csdm_steam 0
if You will try to use my files. Sorry for my bad reply before.

what do i write in my plugins.ini file and my liblist.gam file??..

cuz nothing is working currently and i followed all the instructions.

To get whole to work AMXMODX You need to put this line to Your plugins.ini in metamod directory:

win32 addons/amxmodx/dlls/amxmodx_mm.dll

To get to work CSDM You need to put this line to Your plugins.ini (at the end of this file) in amxmodx/configs/ directory:

csdm_mod.amxx

NOTE - look , there are two plugins.ini - everyone is supposed to do something different. One is to call metamod plugins, the other is to call amxmodx plugins.

thanks once again, you've saved the day yet again!, everything is working perfectly, BUT i got a problem now.

when i addbots, activate csdm, restartround and my ping goes to 200-500 o_O , which is really really hard to play in, and 200-500 on lan LOL, do u know how i can fix this, and what my silly prob might be :(

Do You jave this setting csdm_steam 0 in Your amxx.cfg file?
I guess there is something different in weapons between CS1.5 (1.6) and CS1.3 - this can be a problem. I don't have the source of CSDM for CS1.3 - so I can't help You (I don't know what really is different between these CS versions). That's probably why Your CS crashes. :(
