Should Biohazerd87 Be A MOD

I know i am making my own pole... latley the waypointing community has been coming up with some ideas, one is that we make our own website, or page for waypoint downloads and the like. Seeing as how they need help with that, I was wondering if you people think it is ok if i become a mod, please vote!

@biohazerd87 - I have personally nothing against You , but like PMB said (I'm agree 200%) - You have sufficient qualifies to be a moddie here, too, but this could start a really curious situation - more moddies than "normal" members here. Look for example at podbotmm forum - there is a man - Huntkillaz - he also help us much since begining of this forum and he never asked "why I'm not yet a moddie here?". Another example - look at me - I didn't ask - "please, make me a moddie because I want this and I have sufficient qualifies". The people decided so - that forum need exactly me (and also T Wrecks, few weeks later also sPlOrYgOn - because of coding) as a moddie.

If SoUlFaThEr will say - "I will not dedicate to this forum time anymore, because I can't, because I'AM and I WILL be so much busy" and if T Wrecks also will say "Because of my diplom it will be impossible to help this forum for long time" - probably You will be nominated then and You will not need this poll.

BTW. @ My colleague - T Wrecks - why did You say me nothing about this diplom before, when I've asked You if You WANTand You CAN be a moddie here? :P ;)

Re: Should Biohazerd87 Be A MOD

@biohazerd87: See above... couldn't have said it much better. Look at me: The only thing I'm using my moddie status for right now is that I can edit my posts without time limit and have better control over work-in-progress posts. Actually, there was nothing to moderate so far. But since most releases in this part of the forum are mine, anyway, I guess it makes sense after all. Right now I don't think we need any more moddies here, even if Jesus himself were applying for the job...:D

@KWo: I did tell you. It was long ago, and I can't point you to a specific post, thread or PM anymore, but I told you that there would be 3-4 months when I would be short of time... these 3 months will end at November, 30. ;)

Long ago You told me only for You september is science-fiction. Look here:

http://forums.bots-united.com/showpo...3&postcount=11

But there was nothing about 30 november and short time (but yes - it was something about last year of Your study). ;)
But anyway - regardless You told me something or not - if You need biohazerd87 as moddie here - tell this.
And here it IS some big job with sorting something - don't You remember what we were talking about before modding You here (about 2-3 weeks ago)? ;)

Re: Should Biohazerd87 Be A MOD

Heyyo,

Well, the main reason that I voted him as a moddie was for his ability with HTML, and he's definately a good waypointer, and he can help us get our waypoint base all sorted out n' done. I'm betting for the 1st bit the waypoint site will be very hectic as we'll be uploading thousands of waypoints, for many bots, and that's gonna be hard with just 2 active guys (SF's usually too busy, but np).

Of course for this section of the forum we barely get any traffic, but if we provide a high-quality waypoint base? I'm sure we'll get massive traffic there. :D

[EDIT]
BTW, Bio, you're supposed to put this in the agora... OOOH! I shotty moving this thread!!! :D :D :D

[EDIT2]
Heh, now I've gotten to use 4 moddie powers, Editing any posts, create stickey threads, create closed threads, and finnaly, moving a thread... I feel... complete. 9_9

I don't want to suggest anything to my colleague T Wrecks, but seems like biohazerd87 voted agains us in some poll... ;)

Seems he wants to be a moddie regardless of the forum/job kind.. :D

Re: Should Biohazerd87 Be A MOD

Sometimes you scare me, KWo... you're like an external memory that's better than one would like it to be... o_O Do you know the song "The Uninvited Guest" by Marillion? :P

And I do remember what we were talking about. Once in a while, albeit not as often as you I actually remember one or two things I dealt with. But this idea of a site convinces me more, it's easier to maintain and to expand. If people want to know what waypoints are available, they can just click on a bot and get the list, which can then be sorted by various criteria. There could be tiny icons for updated and new waypoint files, too... no need to maintain a monster thread here on BU and edit it a zillion times. The site is a different thing, and of course bio would have full admin powers there...
But I'm not really willing to start a long discussion here... just let him be a moddie, too... better one too many than one too few. And if it's a little boost for his motivation, why not? We'll need it sooner or later.

honestly it doesn't matter to me... if everyone here thinks it will do more harm then good, then so be it, but vote no, if so, even if i doo make the qualifications

Re: Should Biohazerd87 Be A MOD

I don't want to vote "no". I know You have sufficient qualities to be a moddie, too for Waypointing. Let me whole don't vote - because I'm confused - You are a good candidate for this (this is "pro") but that forum has now 3 moderators (2 active) - so the question is if it really needs one moddie more (and seems for this moment like "contr", but maybe I'm wrong).
Another thing is this - normally the people suggest somebody to modding him. But in Your example it wasn't in this way. I want to see some opinion of other Councils - then maybe I'll vote for some option. Now I really don't know what I have to choose. But this T Wrecks opinion about motivating You - I like it - if somebody else will write something like this - probably I'll vote for "yes".

@Huntkillaz - I don't feel controlled by You. Last time You are not much active - I almost forgot about You. :D
