Many Problems With POD-Bot 2.6 R2b1
 

Ok, im using a beta version of Pod-Bot 2.6mm R2b1.
First of all, when podbot loads, sometimes my AMX 9.7 wont load.

Second Of All, when podbot and amx 9.7 load together successfully, most of the time, I (Head Admin) of my server cant slap, slay, or use any plugin effects on other real players. (Even though I am immune, plugins are still effective on me).

I know this is true because my AMX was functioning perfectly when I removed podbot from my metamod plugins, and when I removed all AMX plugins that didnt come with AMX, it still happened.
Third of all, I cant create waypoints. Is there something I need to specify to allow a certain user podbot waypointing priveleges?

Please help me! :'(

(yes i posted on AMX forums, and nobody answered my question because they didnt know what was wrong...at the time i didnt know that podbot caused the problem)

first you should probably update..
second.. search the forums for instructions on how to waypoint..
the latest builds are actually more stable than b1...

also amx and amxx seems to have not known how to detect bots until very recently.. amxx0.20 RCs and AMX not yet released version will have the fix...

it's hard to do things right now..
but we're making a manual to be released with the next version to make it easier on people to find all this information.

Concerning waypoints, I think you can only make them on a listenserver. And the editor has changed a lot. If you have used PODBot 2.5 before, you will notice loads of changes. The editor is much faster and easier to use now, but it takes a while to get used to the new way of controlling it. Console commands have disappeared 99%; all is now accessible via on-screen menus, and you can even bind each menu entry to any key you like.
If you would like to have some documentation (I currently have a pre-release version of it here) and some info on how to bind keys and get started, just PM me and tell me your mail addy so I can send the stuff to you.

And yes, you should really upgrade to a newer build of the dll. Right now the server is messed up and will be down for maintenance soon. But if you can't get R2b43 from the filebase...

...(works for me), then you can also PM me, and I'll send it to you. With a newer AMX(X) version and an up-to-date bot dll, many of your problems ought to disappear.

And if it's not that urgent, you can just wait and get the next official release (r2b44 or 45) together with the finished documentation. :) Should be ready after the server has been restarted...

One advice for the moment is this - take amxmodx 0.20 RC6 and update it by some nightly bulids from amxmodx site and then You will not have the problem. AMX MOD X realise similar way all functions like AMX, so You will need only recompile and maybe re-edit all Your plugins from AMX 0.9.7. And for the moment AMX MOD X is much more supported currently than AMX.

erm....AMX 9.9 doesnt work for me...i tried...I can try it again...

Btw, wpmenu still doesnt work =( even though I updated the podbot dll. Ok, well thx.

wpmenu is for listen servers..
and AMX 0.9.9 wouldn't work.. you need the next version they release.. whenever that will be..

It's going to be soon ... as I'm using a pre-release of the next AMX (not a nightly build) and this problem is gone.

This sucks. lol.

So does waypointing work in AMX 0.9.9?
I need help with it.

I 've just fixed the link in T Wrecks post. Should work now - try to get R2B43 or R2b44 and try again. And waypointing has nothing to amx or other plugins. You can make waypoints only on listenserver. Call in console:
wpmenu
