Dangit sPlOrYgOn...

Heyyo,

I decided to check out firefox since you seem to heavily support it... n' I like the sound of it... so I read that column at forbes.com cause they're freakin bigshots.. n' that guy seems to really like it, n' the features sound pretty cool too.

Lol, thanks for changing my mind there sPlOrYgOn... all I wanted to do was be lazy in my insecure IE. :P

n' now? I'm gonna go home, n' give it a shot. Because you tantillized me with your firefox symbols in your avatar n' signature. :)

Heyyo,

nothin' at all PMB, actually, lazyness saved my life. True story. I'll do a short recap:

- Was still a baby, sister pushed me off a balcony
- If neighour wasn't lazy n' would've moved mattress to the dump or something for 2 weeks, I would'ved fell onto concrete pathway n' died.

Yep, nice n' short. n' why I like lazyness soo much, my life depended onnit. lol. :D

Well, it's a bad habit of mine TruB. I'll be done coding on my GTA mods, n' think, "hey! I can make it shorter by doing this!" n' then change like, half my code, n' then forget to backup, n' have to rewrite half my code... lol, for the Gotham City mod I'm working on, i must've redone the intro mission 7 times over, I lost count. :D

Downloading FireFox...

[UPDATE]
Ok, I'm trying it out, it's pretty nice. But I miss that tick sound whenever it changes webpages. Is there a plugin for that yet? :P

Re: Dangit sPlOrYgOn...

I think I still prefer Opera a bit... for my taste, Firefox sticks a bit too much to IE schemes in some respects.
For example, it also has its settings under "extras / settings" like IE... I like the "quick preferences" feature in Opera, where you press <F12> and get a context menu to easily and instantaneously toggle Java, JavaScript, Cookies, Proxy connection, PopUps etc.
Another advantage of Opera is that it saves GFX a lot faster. If I open a link to a photo with Firefox, it loads the pic. Normal. Then I right-click "save as...", and then it apparently d/ls the photo again or transfers it from its file cache to the place you specified, and that takes 1-5 seconds AGAIN (depending on the size of the image, of course)! Moreover, during that loading/copying time, I can't close the tab. . Opera is faster in that respect.
But maybe they changed that with FF 1.0. I'm still using 0.9.2. Anyway, I still like FF, and I use both FF and Opera now.

Heyyo,

lol, it's pretty nice, it does feel different. But can you resize the engine searchbar? I've tried, n' all I can do is move it..

Also, like I mentioned above, I need my tick sounds for changing webpages, do you know where I can find a plugin that does that? I know it sounds stupid... but I like it. :D

Re: Dangit sPlOrYgOn...

just listen to your mouse click :D
well maybe there is an extention that can do that...
I never really searched the extensions since firefox already has all the features I want :D
