Very frustrated
 

I added an amx mod to my cs 1.5 so that i can play it on a lan at school w/others.......................but now the bots don't work due to the liblist.cfg having to have the mod instead of the bot files.......................does anyone know how i could get the bots to work. (if possible detailed instructions n00b talk plz!) thanx!

I'm thinking you're not even using this bot..
this bot works fine with amxmod since this bot is a metamod plugin too..

Yeah, could it be that you use PODBot 2.5? Or maybe another PODBot-clone based on the 2.6 source code? Are you absolutely sure it's PODBot 2.6mm? Did you download it from here?
Oh, and concerning the "liblist.cfg" - there is no such file; I bet you mean the file "liblist.gam", right?
If you were using PB 2.6mm, then you would have MetaMod installed (hence the "mm" - MetaMod), and the line in liblist.gam would point to the metamod.dll. The bot dll and the amx dll would then be loaded from the file "plugins.ini" that belongs to MetaMod, and both work fine together.

and tell me , what did You wrong again (focus at the links showed You there by my colleague - T Wrecks). ;)

Now we can concentrate on trying to help you...

So you have CS 1.5 (official, but no steam), right? No unofficial, leaked, hacked, cracked or otherwise modified version, I suppose?

Do you have MetaMod already installed?

What other plugins do you have installed?

Can you see the exact name and version number of the bot anywhere? What's the bot's dll file called? podbot.dll? podbot_mm.dll? How do you load it currently?

If you can provide exact (or as exact as possible) answers to these questions, you will help ppl here a lot to help you. And that's what we're gonna try... :)

I added some more info to the thread title... "Very frustrated" only tells ppl here that you are frustrated - that's nice, but it doesn't really help, eh? ;) Now the thread title tells ppl what's your problem, so they will be more likely to drop by and help...

OK. First tell me if You were reading this and You understand what I wrote there:

Then tell me if You are able to install AMX without podbot and if it is working for You correct without podbot? Tell me also what the version of AMX You have (important)? What the version of metamod are You using? Write in console:

meta list

and show me what You can see.

Go to Your metamod directory, look into plugins.ini file - copy and paste here its contents.

first off everything about me is legal................cs1.5 not steam..........metamod and amx is working fine......i am running (this is what i am running module wise)
win32 addons/amx/dlls/amx_mm.dll
win32 addons/amx/modules/fun_mm.dll
win32 addons/amx/modules/csstats_mm.dll
using metamod 1.17.1 and the newest ver. of amx
oh and i downloaded PODBot-R2.43-Full..............and i cant get it workin........it starts to load podbot but then the game just exits out..............the only things i changed was the bots names, weapons,waypoints, and chat.............(i used old pod bot files .....................well i think that's it

no wonder.. old podbot files..
you MUST use the new ones or just edit the new ones..
the 2.5 files don't have the cs1.6 weapons.. even if you're not running cs1.6 you still need to include them in the botweapons.cfg..

You need to take R2.1 version (this one named as "official") with all cfg's and waypoints files, then take R2B43 and replace the file podbot_mm.dll included in R2.1 by this one from R2B43.
