Are you running on linux or windows?

Make sure the file is in addons\metamod folder.

Re: problems with plugins.ini

Your stucture should look like this:

addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll
addons\metamod\plugins.ini

I am guessing you have plugins.ini in the wrong place.

Re: problems with plugins.ini

What do you have running in your plugins.ini file? The best guess would probably be that you put the files in the wrong place or you wrote it wrong.

Re: problems with plugins.ini

; AMX Mod
win32 addons/amx/dlls/amx_mm.dll

; AMX Mod modules

; NOTE: don't declare 'pure' AMX Modules here
; (those not having '_mm' in their filename)

; CS Stats (AMX module)
win32 addons/amx/modules/csstats_mm.dll

; Fun (AMX module)
win32 addons/amx/modules/fun_mm.dll

; Vexd Utilities (AMX module)
; win32 addons/amx/modules/VexdUM_mm.dll

; Realbot
win32 addons/realbot/dll/realbot_mm.dll

thats what i have, and to get to it its C:\Sierra\Counter-Strike\cstrike\addons\metamod\plugins.ini

Re: problems with plugins.ini

Go to Your windows settings and check the folders/files properties. Look at "Hide known file type extensions" - this one has to be unmarked (You need see all possible extensions). Than make sure Your plugins.ini is really plugins.ini - not for example plugins.ini.txt. this ".txt" might be hidden if You don't unmark that option I showed You above. Make sure You are using at least metamod 1.17.1 for AMX 0.9.9
