Isn't dod 1.3b beta the current dod out right? Shrikebot crashes dod everytime i "addbot"

Make sure you ahve the latest shrikebot verson v2.0.4 and a file called won.gam in the shrikebot folder.

DOD 1.3 is not a beta (at least i don't think dod versions that are made after the retail versions are beta.)
I can't find any information on dod site that version 1.3 is beta.

DOD 1.3 is also not for WON but only for Steam.

Could you point me to where I can get the latest version of DOD that is non-Steam. I don't care for playing online (56k). I was wondering why all the waypoints included with your bot matched none of the maps listed in my version of DoD

Thats because the waypoints included with the latest verson of shrikebot were made for dod 1.3 steam not won. The maps have changed quite a bit.

As far as where you can get a won verson of steam I really dont know. DoD Steam is playable offline you just have to have your pc unpluged from the internet.

Maybe I am misunderstanding your question here but as i understand it you have steam already installed right ??

You should just be able to click on Day of Defeat from the games menu and steam will do the rest for you, it should not overwrite and CS files. I am not sure if there is just a DoD 1.3 file you can DL and install, im pretty sure it has to go through steam.

Someone plz correct me if I am wrong.

Well the reason why I want to mix (or whatever) is so i don't have to dl dod thru my steam because my connection at home is 56k, and here at my school they got a pretty fast t1 connection so I just burn everything to a CD and install it at home
