About the latest WIP
 

When I use the latest WIP, metamod reports that Realbot is in the wrong directory, but I can still play Realbot. I have double-checked the liblist.gam and plugins.ini.

One more thing, it doesn't use the RBN and RBX file(s) I have created using Bsp2Rbn.

This is the correct directory for RBN, right?
Half-Life\RealBot\data\cstrike\maps

This is the correct directory for RBX, right?
Half-Life\RealBot\data\cstrike\exp

yes this is right.
but were is your realbot.dll? and is it the latest metamod?

My realbot.dll is located at:
Half-Life\RealBot\dll

Mines 1.17.1
haven't updated it with 1.17.2

Oh, another question. Does the latest version of Realbot still support RBN and RBX files?

That's what RB will always use.

As for your folders, try putting it in "Counter Strike" instead of "Half Life"....

If you're modding the "cstrike" mod, it won't even run. You can thank me for that, I was the guy that created the methods of converting CZ into a 3rd party mod you didn't have to pay for. :D

It don't care where the file is, relevant is, if the right path is in plugins.ini from the metamod

Are you playing cs1.5 ? Looks like it from the path you gave us. If you are I'll fire up my old comp and try to help you out.

Edit: I have played cstrike again, and I noticed some errors.
The errors are:
1. Warning: RealBot is not installed in the correct directory. (Even though I installed it in the proper directory.)

2. Instead of loading the RBN and RBX file(s), it loads the IAD files. (Whenever I toggle the console, It tells me that it cannot create RBN and RBX file(s).)

3. Loading of imgood.wav. (What's imgood.wav?)

4. When I set the RealBot chat to any setting, it only shows up when I am dead/killed.

However, Stefan really outdone himself this time :) , though the latest WIP needs more correction.

hadn't any problems yet. ( ok if havn't the sirious wav file too)
maybe you trie to reinstall all, if you have any other bots, mods bevor

I have reinstalled it twice, but no luck. I wanted to play though.

Edit: I use the win32_rbv10.zip installer, so, my RealBot installer is really not updated. I can't download the 100MB file cause I' on 56K and ISP. :(

Hmmm, 100MB? Try downloading the file from this location... it's 548Kb...

extract the files to:
"c:\sierra\half-life" or rather your install path, the important thing is you extract the files to your "Half-Life" folder and nowhere else.

I think you have tried downloading the entire source files.... =)

edit: If you read at the page (the link page) you see that you then will have to download the latest realbot_mm.dll and put it in your "c:\sierra\half-life\realbot\dll\" folder.
