problems with my RealBot server!!
 

Hi everyone!!!

I've instaled realbot on a win32 server with the amx X mod and is running fine, but i still have a problem, when i add a bot on the console server, because my realbot menu does not appear, an error occur:

WARNING: RealBot is NOT installed into the correct directory!
WARNING: rbnbx files will not be created nor personality files!

the bots enter in the game but they are very stupid, they dont leave the base.
I think i've install everything ok, i've tried to put the realbot directory in other places ans change the metamod ini file but problem still the same.

My questions

-where i put the real bot directory, and what changes i can make to metamod?

-Why the menu does not appear in the game?


If anyone can help me??

can you post where you installed realbot?
is it a dedicated server? if so, you should install it in the dedicated server directory
it is complaining because you do not have it properly installed, which means it can't save any info which means they don't know where to run around

hi

i've instaled the realbot in "C:\HLServer\cstrike\addons\RealBot" and in the metamod plugins.ini i put this line "win32 addons\RealBot\dlls\realbot_mm.dll",
everything is working except the errors that i have mencioned...

unfortunately your path is incorrect
realbot needs to be installed in the HLServer Directory, the same one the cstrike directory is in
also, your plugins.ini should read:
please STF and :RTFM:

ok, so i put the realbot directory in the "c:\hlserver\" and change the plugins.ini of the metamod to
"win32 ..\RealBot\dlls\realbot_mm.dll"

and the error still the same,

the realbot module still load because when i put "meta list" the metamod say that the module is running, and the bots still stupid and the error still the same..

Could you say me a bot that is more easy to install??? ;) ;)

your path is still incorrect
realbot_mm.dll should be in the dll folder, not teh dlls folder.

Hey thanx, is working without the error,

but now i have another little error

"couldn't exec wptmenu.cfg"

where i put this file, it stills in realbot directory
I do not made any changes on it...

strange...

that is a problem with your configuration, i've never heard of wptmenu.cfg
you'll have to look through your configuration files and find where it is being used etc etc
