little problem with realbot
 

hey all. Just a question, I can get bots up through the console but not through the menu you get by pressing the h button, any ideas?

are you using a listen server? make sure the menu is using the same commands as the console. whatever those may be for yoru version of RB

please, forgive my ignorance here, but what do you mean by a listen server. I'm afraid I'm a super noob as it pertains to bots and such. I was setting up my own computer as a server just to practice on.

It is either dedicated server (no player GUI on the CP) or a listen server (with a player GUI on the CP).

i don't think its a dedicated server cause i just go into counterstrike and press on new game, then i go from there, i can get the bots to come up through console just not through the hit "h" menu

know which version of realbot u are using? version of CS?

Probably a wrong key binding... Have a look in ..\cstrike\config.cfg

If you get the menu when you hit "h" and you are able to select "add bot....." and it doesn't add a bot for you then it is as Josh Borke said earlier, the commands in your "command.txt" file are wrong. Have a look at it, it's ".../counter-strike/cstrike/command.txt". Make sure the commands after "Add bot" are the same as the ones you give in the console. You could try downloading this command.txt from the filebase ---> http://realbot.bots-united.com/files/commandmenu.txt
Rename your old command.txt and replace it with this one... Hope This Helps
