NEWBIE help
 

OK I am brand new to the CS community! I love playing it online however have a large LAN and would like to get some bots to fill out our ranks.
OK First where is the link for the Best BOT you recommend.
I take it they have half decent readme files?? I hope.
Any tricks you can warn me about?
I also do enjoy Opposing forces, do they have a bot program for it?

ok Thought I would start at the FAQ. Doesn't seem to have a Link.

Which bot program is the best with CS 1.05 where is the DL????:(

hmmm I D/L realbot 1.0..........Ran the install. Loaded up my CS 1.5 Choose a map can't seem to activate the bots? In the write it says 'H' will activate the menu. Is this during the game I must simply stike the letter "H" and a menu will should present itself......What am I doing wrong? o_O

Yup... If it installed correctly, the pressing 'H' once you have started a game will bring up a GUI menu where you can select stuff to do with bots. If you are running a dedicated server, then you will have to type in commands to add bots (see the readme that came with RB v1.0 and goto the 'Usage' page), or you could change the bot.cfg file to make bots join automatically (also on the 'Usage' page)

p.s. After trying MANY bots (and also running different bots against each other) I would also have to agree that overall, RB is THE BEST CS Bot out there.

Just so you know, we ask that thread starters provide titles that reflect what the thread is about. You'll get far better responses by doing that as some of us busy people just skip over threads that don't have any meaning.
