The most annoying thing about aiming?

You can vote several issues i have read before; you can also reply to this thread, but i would like to see votes so i can see 'statisticly' what issue should really be resolved.

yeah stefan they kill you as soon as they see you.. but it makes for good practice.. :) i think it shud be made a tad bit easer but not much.

i think they definitely need more variety in skill levels. that would fix just about everyone's problems, because they can just set the bots to the skill levels that they like. 0 for godly lightning quick reflexes for a headshot or 10 for 1-second reflexes for a complete miss. and many levels in between.

No recoil past a certain number of shots.

They just dont have recoil, all the bullets land in the same place. They do have recoil on their first few shots though, so sometimes the anti-recoil is good or bad, depending on weapon. Like with the GALIL which is low recoil, a bot running around spraying that will usually get 3 kills in seconds, same with FAMAS... but with the AK it ends up with them shooting at a 15 degree angle above the target with rediculously high accuracy.

I read an article that when you pause for 0.2 seconds from the first shot, you always have 100% accurate shots. Since the bot has a 'wait before you shoot' timer (burst fire), it coul dhave these very accurate 'pauses'. Therefor having 3 headshots in 1 second.

Its not human like, but its actually CS that has the bug of shooting like this.

I think its a combination though, bots can turn very quick, so that really needs some changing.

Lightning-quick turns... PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX THIS.

Seen the CSbot? Make it turn like that. :D lol

Well, it still has no recoil.

I mean, it holds down the trigger, and has no recoil past a certain point. It's like the recoil will put the gun at an odd angle, say 10 degrees above the enemy's head, and he will hold down trigger until he runs out of ammo but every single shot will be going in the same spot in the sky.

i have seen this many many times as well. if you watch the bots using first-person, it is most obvious.

Dude... That's how I shoot with the GALIL or the Colt... It might be a bug in CS, but it's how most non-newb players play. :D

Dstruct, I mean it has NO recoil. Not like how the shots are all going left and right at the same horizontal level, but I mean NO MOVEMENT AT ALL.

Oh, and the bots can shoot full auto while running with no recoil difference from crouching, as well.

So here are the problems:
  • Bots are not (seriously) affected by how fast they are moving, or whether or not they are crouching.
  • Bots have minimal recoil, and it only occurs within the first 3 shots. With some weapons, the recoil actually pushes the gun down at this point, such as with the FAMAS or GALIL on occasion. This means the bot can fire with no recoil at chest to leg level at multiple enemies. At this point, a single bot can decimate an entire group of bots who are not ready, or their recoil adversly affects aiming.
  • Bots do not care how far away you are, their accuracy is independent of range, I suggest the XYZ coordinate system be replaced by XYZ degrees of rotation. Ergo, instead of aiming 5 'units' to the left of somebody, aim 5 degrees. This is more realistic, make it scalable by range so that the further away they are the smaller the degree.
  • Bots can turn almost instantaneously, and can even fire upon multiple enemies at the same time by switching targets between bullets.
  • Bots have huge fields of vision, allowing them to know where you are even if you are straight above them, whereas a human opponent will look around before looking up.
