bots get stuck at start of map
hi folks!
i just installed joebot on my server and wanted to test it. but i had to see that the bots get kind of "stuck" (tested on de_dust2 so far) at the beginning of the round. they do not really hang, their physics seem not to be updated: they turn in different directions, spray some logos, chat and use radio-commands, but they do not move or shoot. either they freeze after some steps or do not even fall down from their spawn-point. i already searched this forum and the web, but i could not find someone else having this problem. ot: in the news and changelog you say that one has to change jb_cstrike to 1, but the variables name is jb_cstrike15 :) my configuration: linux-dedicated server v3.1.1.0 (i will not update this, because hltv is broken in 3.1.1.1) with hltv, metamod v1.17.1p7 (as you may guess, i am using the metamod-library of joebot) and statsme v2.8.3, clanmod v1.82b1, cheating-death v4.21 in optional mode, hlguard 1.60, cpustat (a simple plugin to display server-load in the hud) as metamod-plugins. the game is cstrike 1.5, i set jb_cstrike15 to 1 therefor. if i missed something, just ask :) btw: i really like, how those kids express their helplessness with this smily :'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:' (:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'( hm .. there seems to be a bug in the forum-software, too, as one of those does not get translated into an image :D |

i just remembered something i missed:
i used pingbooster from udp-soft and the half-life pingbooster. i now disabled both and the bot work ... somehow. they still get choked, i think because sv_maxrate is at 100 ... i thought this was fixed? well, i will go on without pingboosters and set the values to defaults. please try to fix it anyway ... ;-) |
