WIP #11 Lag?
I just tested out WIP #11 on cs_miltia and after i added 4 bots on each team i got all laggy, real bad lag, but my ping was only 8 (still a shit load on a listen-server) and the chat.ini shit didn't work at all? wtf? thats what i discover4ed with WIP #11

A computer which is as slow as mine is just unable to run the WIP version of Realbot |

its not that, the previous one didnt lag at all, its just this one, but maybe i was using system resources elsewhere, who noes

have you tried adding just 1 bot, then increasing, watching the load as you go? if you are running win xp/2k you should bring up task manager by running taskman. it'll give you a 'history' of your cpu usage for a short ammount of time, you can use that to determine if the usage is abnormally high with the 4 bots per team vs 1 bot per team etc.

ya, it ran fine until i got to about 3 on 2, then it started getting a little laggy.. it never did this on the old WIP, i got upto 20 on aztec before it lagged

I am having 30 fps with 31 bots at the very first start of a round. Sometimes it goes down to 15. I admit thats not feasable, but atm its so much that goes on and so much is not super optimized, yes it eats cpu.
However, i wonder what kind of computer you have? (CPU) |

Ok, 2.5 ghertz processor, 256 DDR ram, pentium 4, thats the important stuff |

i am able to run 16 bots on a dedicated linux server using less than half of the cpu most of the time. using the current wip
