GrogBot - Joining Bots-United?
 

We had a short conversation with PMB about joining BU in FritzBot forum and I think I'm going to try... The question is:

Am I allowed to join Bots-United with GrogBot?

GrogBot is for Pirates, Vikings and Knights Half-Life modification. You can find more information about it from the site (possibly).

If I'm allowed to join, GrogBot seems to be the first Non-CS HL bot here?

Yup

And why not ? the more, the merrier ! :)

One would argue, argh, yet another HL bot... but yours is not a CS bot, so you're excused ;)

P.S. you would NOT be the first non-CS HL bot here, HPB_bot and ShrikeBot aren't CS bots 9_9
HPB_bot is for HLDM, TFC, Opposing Force and DMC
ShrikeBot is for Tour of Duty and DOD

Hey, that's cool. 2 new bots in one week, and 2 non-CS bots! Gotta read nore about PVK...

well, I'm not a Council member, but if I were, I'd vote "yes", that's for sure! Hope they let you in... =)

anybody already tested that bot ?

somehow it's difficult to decide if someone can join if that person never appeared in any bot forum ... or do we know you with another nickname ?

We'll... I was asking some stupid questions on the old HPB bot forums when I was just beginning bot programming.

And yes, I have been browsing the forums for a long time. Never just registered. If you guys allow me to join, I surely will post in the forums more than before.

The only way to know the quality of the bot is to test it yourself! ;)

I agree, we need at least some quality assurance checks before someone can get a forum.

I looked at the site, looks legit and I have no reason to think otherwise, but I have no way to test the bot.

Okay, I'm back.

Remember also that it's still beta. It still doesn't include all the features there will be in 1.0.

Just tell me how do I prove the quality? :)
