csc2pack error!!
 
hi! Excuse me if im at the wrong place for to ask this!
I found in the file base the wp-pack to the csc2pack with the wp for the maps
cs_greenhouse, cs_industrywest, cs_shogun_final, de_downtown, de_laguna, and de_morningstar_csc. And that made me curious.. I d-loaded the mappack..
And now I have problems with it! Not with the wp but with some of the maps..
I can run cs_greenhouse, de_morningstar_csc and de_downtown ... The rest of them crash the server. cs_shogun_final crashes and leaves the massage in the console

de_laguna and cs_industrywest just crash the server without any message at all..

Have you tried to disable POD-Bot or delete waypoint file for that map and run server?

I don't have these maps. Ok, I'll try them now.

humm...I tried the map de_laguna and I got error as well. The error message is "Mod_NumForName: model/laguna/lag_sub441.mdl not found" It seems that these maps need custom models. I got a pop-up message instead of showing in console. That's probably why you didn't figure out.

Do you have a windows hlds installed? I can collect these errors(models) for you if you don't.

Oops, I never knew there were problems with those maps! Hmm, AFAIR, I got the pack from a friend, but separated the files and archived each map individually.

Thanks for your time :) The lag_sub441.mdl Ive already got it! thx
I d-loaded cs_shogun_final and replaced the files on my server. And Again I got

models/industrywest/gins_shelves_b.mdl

You need to add the sprite below. You can use the sprite found in the mod version of the mappack (may be in other versions but is not verified yet)

sprites/industrywest/tsstacks.spr

cs_shogun_final, cs_industrywest and de_laguna should now run.

The above mentioned files should be fixed. While they do not crash windows servers or clients, some can cause fps loss and other problems, especially when any sort of debugging/developer setting is used.
And at the same place I found "an fix" for it... Useless It still crashes my linux.. So
First I tried by my self and then I used the fix.. Same Same Sh.t Crash...
Except for cs_industrywest wich I got to work with help of the d-loaded fix..
Guess that someone will have ro rebuild the mdl and spr! Maybe its done already but I havent found them yet??

Ok, I just read the whole thread on csbanana, so I've just realized that all I posted before was nonsense and wouldn't help... 9_9
But from what I've read, it seems like those guys got all maps up & running after all. Are you sure you tried everything that was posted there? Or maybe you could just rename all sprites and models to .mdl.OLD and .spr.OLD and then take a dummy mdl / spr that runs without problems and replace them? If this doesn't work, I don't know. But if it did, you could slowly start to take the original files back in one after another and thus track the errors... sheesh, that's really a mess.
