and the waypoint msg show

Hehehe, now that's really funny. :D kuwait, you can't know about it because you're new here - but some months ago, we argued about the best way to display these messages, especially the one about the waypointer... in the middle of the screen, somewhere else, in the console or both? Longer, shorter? In which colour? We considered about every possibility - except for one: deactivate it entirely. :D
But actually you're right: If you run a server with bots and don't want ppl to know immediately that the other "players" are really bots, this welcome message and the WP credits are bad.
Hey sPlO, would it be a biggie to add an option to turn welcome text & WP credits on/off? Or maybe there's a possibility to make these things show on the server only? I think kuwait has a good point there, although we never thought about it...

Is there neway you can deactivate the talking voice at the beginning of every round, get's very annoying.

Well, the whole package (voice message + text / console message) should have an option to be activated/deactivated. Introducing a switch for BOTH of them separately would be a bit exaggerated, IMHO...

Try to find in Your podbot.cfg file this line:

usespeech on

and change it to:

usespeech off

Guess what?
if you upgrade to R2b42
there's now a new command that can stop the welcome and waypoint message :D
for console it's "pb welcome_msgs off"
for podbot.cfg it's "welcome_msgs off"
