Re: RealBot AI loaded with metamod?

If you have downloaded the wip #4 (i.e. the realbot_mm), you don't need the realbot.dll anymore.
For example I put my realbot_mm.dll in my RealBot\dll folder.
After that put this line in your plugins.ini (metamod)
win32 ../RealBot/dll/realbot_mm.dll Realbot

Launch a game and check if the realbot_mm.dll is loaded by:
meta list

-- EDIT --
I didn't see that meta say it is well loaded.
Which command do you use to add a bot?
rb_addbot? or realbot add ?
Only the second one works...

Re: RealBot AI loaded with metamod?

if your running a dedicated server would you have to go up 2 instead of one? i have the realbot folder this way....steamapps/myemail/counter-strike/realbot/dll/realbot_mm.dll

my metamod is located here
steamapps/myemail/dedicated server/cstrike/addons/metamod

so for metamod to go out of the dedicated server folder and into the counter-strike folder would this be correct......

../../counter-strike/realbot/dll/realbot_mm.dll

im at a loss that doesnt work either

heres what i get:
[ 1] STATSME RUN - sm_cstrike_mm.dl v2.8.0.1 ini Chlvl Chlvl
[ 2] WinHL-Booster RUN - booster_mm.dll v1.70 ini Chlvl Pause
[ 3] <realbot_mm.dll badf load realbot_mm.dll v - ini - -

heres what i got :
mean mod a modified version released in the meanmod forum for realbot..
i have that loaded in the liblist with this in my launch options for steam:
+localinfo mgamedll addons/metamod/dlls/metamod.dll +localinfo mbotmod realbot_mm

i can get metamod to load the driver if i put it in the metamod folder and direct it to the dll and it works fine cept the bots dont save the experience or load the name text. is installation different for a dedicated server or am i just missing something somewhere?

Re: RealBot AI loaded with metamod?

With what you said, I think only one isz required:
../counter-strike/realbot/dll/realbot_mm.dll

the metamod is loaded from the game directory, i.e. cstrike I think... just try.

Re: RealBot AI loaded with metamod?

the cstrike of the dedicatated server folder not the counter-strike
metamod is here steamapps/myemail/dedicatated server/cstrike/addons/metamod

realbot is here
steamapps/myemail/counter-strike/realbot/dll/realbot_mm.dll

is this wrong? do i have to put realbot in the dedicated server folder?

bots dont auto join this way and bots dont join on map change this way they dont use the name text either

Re: RealBot AI loaded with metamod?

I think you should install rb in you dedicated server folder. Why being so complicated? 9_9
