Some help installing please.

Ok,heres what I have.
-CS 1.6
-Joe Bot 1.6.5.1
I'm pretty sure i installed it in the wrong place,but I dont know where that place is.After reading the faq,it says if the console is not recognizing "addbot",then I haven't installed it into my Halflife directory.But the thing is,does it mean steam halflife directory,or what.
So what I'm asking for is an example of where othe JOE bot users installed their joe bot.Thanks in advance.
