I am using cs1.5 and joebot. But I dont know how to get it work on 1.5 I dont know what to do with that CS 1.5 backward compatible (set cvar jb_cstrike 1)

just extract that file to your halflife folder ( or counter-strike folder if retail cs )

I second that. I am the second biggest noob you have ever seen. i've tried so many times to install a bot... I never got it. Are the Installing instructions here used for CS 1.6? If so, could someone explain to me the jive about "exec .EXE" stuff? any help is appreciated. thanks

the current joebot release doesnt contain a .exe file. only the zip variant is available.

forget about the stuff that's written there. the zip file already contains a file structure

So what should I do? Just download, unzip, and where should I extract it to? I really don't know anything. could you give a bit of detailed information, without too much computer lingo in it? thanks again and i apologize for being a bit slow.
