Mean BOT API

Hi botmeister!

I want to get a bot (Yapb) to work with the Mean Mod.
So far it ignores the older (CS1.5) mean.dll Versions and crashes with the latest mean.dll.

Which comands are to be implemented?

I read in the mean archives about the pb to be added to the DS comands. But as I'm still a noob that didn't help much. So a list of comands/functions and maybe even a word of explanation (or two) would be greatly appreciated.

Thx

You can use the localinfo parameters "mgamedll" and "mbotmod" to tell mEAn which bot DLL to use as game DLL and what type of bot it is.

BTW botmeister, when do you think you'll make mEAn open-source ? We can host it on our CVS whenever you want :)

Arggghhhh!

My original plan was to convert mean to Linux then release everything. So far all I have is a Linux server running bots on CS. It's a step forward I suppose, but not enough. At this rate of progress it'll never get done. I just don't have the same amount of time to spend on the mean project as I used to.

Plan 'B' is to just release the whole thing as it is. I'll try and at least clean up a few things first and write up something to get people pointed in the right direction. I'll see what I can do as quickly as possible.

edit: I just released the ServerLoader source code. One down, one more to go!
