RealBot on filebase!
 

Yeah, now finally i have had some spare time to waste... and i think i did something good with it. The Filebase is flexible, it is easy-to-use. It gives other people power to upload/add/edit/delete files from/to it.

So the only question remains, should i directly get you at filebase (instead of clicking on Download and then on Filebase) or not?

I am hasitating because there is some important text at the top of the download and nodes site. I want to hear your voice! :)

btw, does the filebase support different mirrors ? I think you always had different mirrors, dunno how much traffic it's cost if everything is placed on bu

i don't know either. But i assume 80% of the downloads go from BU anyway.

I just figured i don't have a backup of the downloads html page, so i can't revert back or add mirrors if i had them! YIKES! Does anyone has the old downloads.html file?

It's a traffic question in fact ?

To me if most of your downloads come from BU already then direct linking would be only better, since it would save one or two HTML requests taking the users from your main page to the download page, and then on from the download page to the filebase (or whatever location, it'll still be a HTML request).
