One bot is kicked when a person joins the server
I have a dedicated (CS1.5) linux server, and i want to have one or 2 bots on the server (in the same team) even if there are no humans... However, i can't have any bot while there is nobody there.
And, if somebody is playing with bots, and another player enters the game, a bot is kicked automaticaly... Here are some settings: language en botskill_min 80 botskill_max 100 joinwhuman_max on joinwhuman_res on min_bots 0 max_bots 0 extjoe on extskill on botchat off botichat off leetposs 5 prefix [JoE] [JoE] [JoE] welcome off lbp botbuyweapons.cfg bot_spraying off randomwpload 10x all PS: can i install JoeBot with meta mod 1.17? How? I tryed adding the following line in plugins.ini: "linux joebot/joebot_mm_i386.so" but dosent work! |
Re: One bot is kicked when a person joins the server
already fiddled a bit around with min_bots, max_bots and the joinwhuman vars ?
about the linux stuff : what error message did you get ? maybe you just have to recompile the sources on your machine |
Re: One bot is kicked when a person joins the server
Well, as you can see, i tried this setting (according to my needs):
joinwhuman_max on joinwhuman_res on min_bots 0 max_bots 0 And dosent work! (as i said, i want to have on the server at least 1 or 2 bots when there are no humans... so if somebody enters to have someone to play with) BTW i'm trying to add bots using a config file witch has this command: joebot addbot 1 . And how do you mean what error do i get? Are you referring when i'm trying joebot with metamod? (if yes, i can't really remember, but i can check!) |
Re: One bot is kicked when a person joins the server
I run a simliar setup. Below settings to have at least 6 bots when no humans are present. As each human player joins, a bot will leave the server to make room for more human players:
joinwhuman_max off joinwhuman_res on min_bots 0 max_bots 6 If you always want at least one bot on the server at all times, set min_bots to 1. |
