Poor FPS with bots.
 

When i play on a win32 listen server alone i get 100 fps all the time, even in pubs with more than 30 ppl i have constant 100 fps

Geforce FX5600 256MB
2.66Ghz
1 Gig of ram

But when i play with Pod bots, my fps drops really hard, even with ~5 or 4
bots ingame.
I Really want this to be fixed, thanks 9_9

tell me your setup..
I use
GeForce 4 Ti4600
2.0Ghz
512MB DDR Ram..
no problem even with 31 bots...
i still get 100fps...

The reason you have this problem is a combination of things. The more bots you place into the server the more CPU you use. Taking more CPU for bots gives less CPU for graphics. I have a Radeon 9800 XT with a P4 3.0 Ghz HT 512 MB and i get like 700 FPS with bots. If i had all that and I had a P3 1.0 GHz I would get like 10 FPS. It's not all the video card. Another problem could be your running too many mods or some incorrectly. IE running metamod, mEAn, PODbot or more than one type of bot can even make you lag. The reason you don't get FPS lag on internet is because your not running the game you are just playing in it. On LAN you are running it and playing it.
