Bots United Presidentials
 

Okay, Stefan's presidential mandate term has been reached this 1st may, and it's high time for the Council to elect a new president for these upcoming 3 months.

Stefan says he can't continue due to an increased need to focus on his studies.
I side with him to say that any Council member who thinks that he might be able to do the job fine should apply. The more candidates we are, the better the choice.

I suggest we close the proposals in 1 week, that's to say Monday 17 at 00:00 am. Sounds fair ?

So far I'm willing to propose for a new mandate. That makes us already one candidate :D

Goals of this upcoming 3 month term:

• start coding, ACTUALLY coding for the United Bot
• get in touch with non-HL bots and invite at least one of them
  
• appoint maintainers for parts of the Bots United services: maintainers for the wiki, for the filebase, for the Linux server, for the IRC channels, and people to keep a constant level of interest through the offtopic forums and the IRC channels by all means available
  
• fidelize even more our visitors (it's already on a good way)

And of course, keep coding, improving and running the shop. :)

So... other Council members interested for a candidature in the Bots United presidentials ?

I think I cannot take a mandate until including july due to my studies, too. I could maybe do something like this in summer, during my 2 month "holidays", then having a flatrate and just workin' 40 hours a week. Currently, i'm happy when having time to cook on weekends :)

and good idea pierre, we should somehow put some life into the offtopic area, also to get some more personal relationship for the users to bots united. I think we all agree that we don't wanna a special type of forum there like there was one elsewhere some time ago producing problems, but just to have some threads talking about, well, just what off topic is about.

stefan hasnt time, /me neither, NoVa - dunno if the girls let him have time, dunno about bot.meister - and pierre has time as always - hey dude, do you have some mine down there in france producing time ?

hmm, no, it's rather Einstein's general relativity. My fingers go that fast on the keyboard that there's a space-time continuum incurvation which results in stretched time and weightened mass in the local area around my fingers.

And sometimes my brain can't keep up with that rate that's why I'm often posting bullshit :D

I definately do not have time, here just my schedlue for next week (add 18 hours lectures to that)

Friday ST 151 Presentation - 30 Minutes
Friday MIT101 Assignment 2 due - 40 Differntiation, 40 Integration questions, not started
Monday FCS151 Assignment due, code an IJVM program (ca 1300 codelines assembler)
Monday SC121 Presentation - 20 minutes
Tuesday ST151 Assignment 2 due - Produce OO oriented approch for cycling test our security sentinel hardware
Wednesday DEED101 Semester test - 30% of Semster mark
Wednesday DEED101 Assignment 2 due - Hypotheses H testing, 1500 words.

I HAVE NO TIME AND IM GETTING FRUSTRATED. ... joe, can u do my math assignment for me dude ?

Congratulations on the mandate, Pierre! It seemed to be a logical choice after all.

But I'm wondering: May we call you "big maestro" now?? :P Or do we even have to? :D *lol*
