extra for the wp stats cmnd
 

i would enjoy:

seeing not only how many wps in the map and thier kind......i would like to see how many button flags, lift flags, no hostage flags also

we are prepared to redo tons of waypoints just for this flag thing you know :)
it would be easier to get in the map.....type wp stats and see if it has any at all.
should be simple to do i suppose......and VERY useful :)

if u are planning to do this then y not do a few other things (i.e delay this for a while till u build up a good set of waypoint types to add?....since if maps will have to be rewaypointed u might as well do em together...

so lets start some ideas for the types:

maybe add these (for priorty? on a map and for mixed maps where some\all occur)

split the ct\t important to :

hostage ---a seperate on to say at this point is a hostage
bomb --- at this point is a bomb plant[ed] maybe with a big raduis to show area?
vip ---goto here now!
ct imp --- an important area for ct to be in (like a guider for where they should be going but not excatly telling why)
t imp ---an important area for t to be in
weapon --- there are weapons here (like in awp_snowfun where they are up top on a shelf)
button --this is a button (press ..wait...go here)
lift --this is a lift (go here..press...waIt for connecting wp..go)

some of these are easy to do handling wise ie vip --if vip is near wp and is not in danger then go for wp 1st

note: it's just an idea! some of these maybe stupid if so just say so :)

but i think it will give the bots more of an idea of what to do where to go...

we don't want to create a new waypoint version..
we want to keep compatibility with the other podbots...
so far i believe the other podbots can open the waypoints made by this podbot and vice versa

Huntkillaz, you ideas are not stupid dude.......they are mostly already in the bot

what i am requesting is not a editor changing thing dude. i want only more information from the
WP STATS command. i want it to shows flags as well as waypoints. this wont affect how anything is waypointed......so what are you actually saying?


there will be no waypoint changing features anymore

the bot operates just fine, does buttons and lifts correctly and knows weapons.

we already have T an CT important waypoints

about the goal being split up:
the bot is driven to understand the goal waypoint by the fact that a func_bomb_target in the map exists......or that a hostaqe entity exists, and also a rescue zone, or that a vip_safetyzone is in the map.so tell me whats wrong with the goal waypoints?

we dont need a flag for weapons because the bot now understands what a weapon entity is......

there are no flags left to add.
i just want to SEE them when i type wp stats in the console......this is not a discussion about adding more things to change the structure of the waypoint system ......
