no idea what i'm doing
 

I have no idea what I'm doing tyring to set up RB with STEAM DS. Do I use realbot.dll, or realbot_MM.dll. I have been having so much trouble with this. I do have Adminmod installed, but the directions for installation with adminmod are different in the RB readme than the adminmod manual. It's getting so frustrating. Can anybody please give me steps by step instructions, or anythign to help, or direct me to another thread that can help. Thanks.

Do you want to use WIP 9 or just Realbot version1?
If you want to use the WIP you will need realbot_MM.dll (for metamod).
If you want to use realbot 1 then check out this thread

i don't use steam, but you should be able to find out how to install it from here.

I tried that. I tried search too, and looked for dedicated server, and nothing helpful came up. I just want to set up Realbot on a STEAM HLDS with Adminmod, why is it so difficult?

Dude, you're the greatest person ever. That's exactly what I needed. I was just wondering why it was so hard to install, I mean I just installed Adminmod, HookMOD, playername, statsme, HLGUard, and ChickenMOD flawlessly. THAkn you again.

Oh, and one more thing... will RB work with AMX? I was thinking about switching to AMX.

Oh, and I would just like people to post their opinions... AMX or Adminmod?

Yes realbot will work with AMX. But i would use AMX mod X (AMXX)

a lot of the ppl working worked on amx have started it up and it is a really good addon.
i have it running with about 50 plugins, (realbot too) there is ever a plugin that makes bots vote.
i think Adminmod is almosty dead now. AMXX are live and kicking new plugins being writed all the time.

amx 0.9.8a - on steam
amx 0.9.6j (aka 0.9.7) -on cs 1.5

works very well, i would say even better than statsme and clanmod
