Upgrading to the new joebot, crashes server
I have been happily using Joebot 1.6.3 up until now..
We have a Mandrake 7.2 (?) server - rather old but hard to upgrade with other things on it. If I just put the new joebot_i386.so file, at startup, the server crashes with: L 04/16/2004 - 13:55:01: Server cvar "sv_aim" = "0" L 04/16/2004 - 13:55:01: Server cvar "pausable" = "0" L 04/16/2004 - 13:55:01: Server cvar "sv_maxspeed" = "500" Server IP address 216.173.20.215:27015 ./hlds_run: line 83: 5250 Segmentation fault (core dumped) $HL $* 53 stdexcept: No such file or directory. debug.cmds:2: Error in sourced command file: Cannot access memory at address 0x0 email debug.log to sdk@valvesoftware.com Fri Apr 16 13:55:06 EEST 2004: Server Died (I had done a proper install earlier and had gotten the same message; so I did not try that again!) any ideas?? -t |
